Findra’s Gingersnaps
INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoon ginger, ground
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- sugar
PREPARATION:
Cream butter and 1 cup sugar until light. Add egg, and molasses; beat well. Combine flour, spices, salt, and soda; add to creamed mixture, blending well. Shape into small balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 325° F. for 8 to 12 minutes. Makes 2 to 3 dozen cookies.
