Useful Commands

say x (or "x)
pose x (or : x)

Say and do things those in the same room can see.

ws

'WhoSpecies', summarizes everyone in the same room as you.

look
look x
lookat x y

`look` looks at the room you're in and shows you everything inside. `look x` shows you the description of an object, player or action you can see. `lookat x y` lets you read the description of a `y` in `x`'s inventory!

wa #dir

'WhereAre' lists public areas where people are congregating, and directions to get to those areas. Will also teach you about 't/teleport', 'rose' and 'luge'.

whisper x=y
page x=y

Tell `x` a message in private. The only difference is whisper requires you to be in the same room.

msummon x
mjoin x

Teleport directly to people across long distances.

spoof x

Prints a message ( in brackets ) not tied to your character. Use `spoof #recent` to learn who did recent spoofs.

ooc x
ponder x (or tb x)
sing x
dosign x

These are like say but print other kinds of messages.

verbatim
verbatim x

After using this command, write and send as many paragraphs of text as you like, then send `.end` on a new line to send it. `verbatim` sends it to everyone in the room you're in, `verbatim x` sends it to the player `x` only.

Shows a map of where you are. (Not always implmented, but it works on the overworld and in Patashu Industries for example).

@globals (or globals #list)

Non-exhaustive list of commands and topics. If you want help on a specific command, try `help x`, `x #help`, `look x` and `@view x`. Hopefully one of them works.

holidays

A list of Spindizzy's holidays.

Global bulletin boards with information about Spindizzy policy/OOC events, upcoming events and technical information on how to make things respectively.

homefinder

Lists all public housing in Spindizzy - but if you like you can just @dig your own!

wadir

If you don't remember the name of a public area, use this. For example `wadir spaceport`.

Express Yourself

@set me=C

Turns on ANSI colour vision. New characters still start with it off!

editplayer

A program that lets you modify your own appearance.

morph #help

Swap instantly between different saved appearance.

help pronouns

If you use a custom gender, this will set up your pronouns. Otherwise they'll default to your name.

Allows teleporting to a room.

Gives an exit reasonable default messages. (NOTE: Will erase any custom succ, osucc, desc, drop or odrop you set up!)

@find x
@owned

List the dbref of a thing you know - then you can @tel #dbref=me, ex #dbref, etc. @owned just shows you all your stuff.

ex x

Display properties of a thing, e.g. try ex me. continue with ex me=/ and so on to explore subproperty trees. to change a property, try `@set me=/species:Awesome`

fa

Shows everyone on the muck and what room they're in, a wa alternative.

showme
hideme

Hide yourself or a zombie from things like wa.

pman #reg
pman #unreg

Use this as a zombie to allow it to interact with globals.
