BunnyHugger says, "Somehow in the process of him running the setup program for it, he caused me to get locked into the vote program while it crashed.  Then he had to kill the process to get me unstuck, which somehow also sent me to Limbo."
BunnyHugger says, "Then last I knew he was himself stuck in it."

You sit on a street luge (it resembles a long skateboard) and zip directly there!
S5 W7 City Hall(#212RL)
     City Hall is a transparent, slightly dome wide-set at its base, with the swirling patterns of half-started spectrums swirling around the flimsy shell.  The shell itself seems almost to breathe, as it flexes in the breeze and the changes of the people around it.  A copper arch marks the most fixed spot and the easiest entrance to the hall.
     
     Around the globe a sparkling array of smaller globes cling to the exterior, each an office or a room or department, and these rooms swirl around as if to off-vertical ferrous wheels on a structure imitating a soap bubble.
     
     The park outside City Hall softly rises and falls, with spots of leaves and flowers of all colors popping into and out of being easily, and more rarely but still sometimes shrubs or bushes or even the odd tree makes it appearance, or exit, quietly but ever changing the light of the center.
        Stars still shine in the dark western sky, but they fade around the zenith, and the sky turns blue with a ribbon of red on the eastern horizon.  It's something like 7 am.

BunnyHugger says, "I currently am the only one who does!  But shortly, I will be sharing it with everyone!"
Mako says, "We didn't have as much campaigns this year as we normally do, but we had the debate and an event at least."
BunnyHugger takes out a serious-looking envelope, pulls out a fancy piece of paper from it, and holds it up with great formality.
Beltrami grins.
Mako says, "And the swag, of course. :P"
Tubelynx scurries around looking for something or someone to climb.
Volacris perks its antennae
BunnyHugger clears her throat and stands as tall as she's able, which is perhaps two feet.
Volacris looks to Tubelynx.
Tubelynx looks back.
Volacris invites Tubelynx over to sit between Vola's antennae!
Athares smiles at Vola and Lynx. Cute.
BunnyHugger says, "Good evening, I am BunnyHugger, the current coordinator for the election of Mayor of SpinDizzy!  The polls closed a short while ago and thanks to our marvelous voting system, we have the results of the 2026 election."
BunnyHugger says, "This year's Mayor is..."
BunnyHugger pauses for dramatic effect.

BunnyHugger says, "Tree squirrels!"

Samnang makes ready to applaud with his typical claps that sound like slapping two pieces of split dried wood together
Beltrami claps and pets Chitter!
BunnyHugger says, "The Vice Mayor position goes to flying squirrels."
Chitter facepaws.
Chitter says, "BunnyHugger..."
Chitter says, "That's the wrong vote."
Austin says, "I like their strong reversible-ankle position."

BunnyHugger looks flustered and her ears blush.

BunnyHugger grabs a different piece of paper, dropping the one she had been holding up.
Athares grins goofily a moment.
Rifter chirps, "Squirrels are cute, though."
BunnyHugger says, "Oh, ah, just a little joke.  I thought we might need to lighten the mood."
Beltrami nodnods.
Tubelynx says, "Flying squirrels are untrustworthy!"
BunnyHugger says, "According to the instant runoff vote tally, our Mayor Elect..."
BunnyHugger says, "... is Tss'Renia!"

Austin says, "Congratulations!"
BunnyHugger says, "As runner up, Patashu will continue in the Vice Mayor position for a second term.  I believe this is the first time we have had a re-elected Vice Mayor."
BunnyHugger says, "Consecutively, I mean."
You chirp, "Oh, that's cool."
Athares flares ears, hmm! Applauds.
Mako huh! Applauds, then!
Samnang raises his hands and whooop! Flicking dozesns of sparkling butterflies into teh air lik =e so many small sky lighter fireworks

Tubelynx doesn't have the physiology to clap, but kind of gophers upright
BunnyHugger says, "The ballots are now available for inspection, so if you would like to see what the IRV looked like in action, go back into the 'vote' program and choose to view past results.  The 'Best Squirrel' practice vote is 38 and the 2026 Mayor vote is 40."
Rifter looks in confusion at the voting program.
Rifter chirps, "Who decided that vote numbers wouldn't go '1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...' but '1, 10, 11, 12, 13, ...'?"
BunnyHugger says, "We will schedule an Inauguration soon, once the outgoing Mayor and the Mayor-Elect and Vice-Mayor-Elect have conferred with me on scheduling.  Probably within a week."
Athares . o O ( The program records list might benefit from having '0' prepending the single digits. )
Patashu says to BunnyHugger, "I can do any day except US fridays, to save you a click."
Niny'ah, to Rifter, "Whoever didn't think there'd ever be more than 9 in record"

Austin says, "MUF hasn't exactly got a clear idea of variable type."

Rifter looks over at the voting program again... and considers filing a quick petition to whoever made it to put leading zeroes, just so the order looks nicer. (How they didn't notice this when going to vote is beyond them.)
Beltrami pats herself and yawns urgently- she hugs BunnyHugger, Chitter, Samnang, Mako, Austin and Vahno and waves!
