I'm not sure the distinction between being in the same room or a different room is important. I understand that it's there to illustrate that the recipient may be elsewhere on the MUCK, but this could also be a line that says: 'The recipient may be anywhere on the MUCK (i.e. they don't have to be in the same room).' Should I add this? Speaking of characters in the same room and built-in commands, should the template could have a section for 'related commands'? An obvious candidate here is 'Whisper: Similar to page but only sends messages to characters in the same room as the sender.' -- [[Lepus]] <<DateTime(2017-08-17T17:06:17-0800)>> | I'm not sure the distinction between being in the same room or a different room is important. The only reason I was concerned about the "in the same room" v. "in a different room" was because {{{whisper}}} serves the same function as {{{page}}} if the use case for the person communicating is "send a private message to a user in the same room." I'll leave my example in place for completeness. -- [[Alkani]] <<DateTime(2017-08-17T17:16:57-0800)>> |
