Usage

 rob <player> 

Purpose

Enables a player to steal one unit of currency from another player.

Syntax

To steal currency from another player:

  •  rob <player> 

Parameters

 <player> 

  • The player you wish to steal from.

Examples

Example 1

If Lepus wanted to show Alkani how easy it was to take one from Alkani's pocket (with consent), he would type the following:

  •  rob Alkani 

Lepus would see:

  •  "You stole a coin." 

Alkani would see:

  •  "Lepus stole one of your coins!" 

Example 2

If Alkani wanted to show Jaxen the same trick, but Jaxen was well protected, he would type:

  •  rob Jaxen 

Alkani would see:

  •  "Your conscience tells you not to." 

Caveats

Only currency can be stolen from someone using this command. Only the thief and the target are informed that something was stolen.

Players can protect themselves against robbery by locking themselves.

As in real life, stealing is frowned upon. There are methods for acquiring currency on the SpinDizzy MUCK without resorting to stealing from other players.
